Yemi Osinbajo visits NFGCS Farm in Gaate, Nasarawa
The NFGCS farm, founded by a former Niger Delta activist, Mr. Reston Tedheke, started with three hectares and one and a half million in 2017. It now occupies 3,000 hectares and is worth about a billion naira, with over 300 employees. . Tedheke was inspired by President Buhari's @muhammadubuhari administration's approach to agricultural diversification in the Nigerian economy. Components of the farm include a ranch, a farm, poultry and a rice mill, among others.
While visiting NFGCS Farm, I saw a story of national unity and integration: a man from the Delta who moved to north-central and got land from the local community.
