Ronaldo insists S-x with prosecutor was amicable

Cristiano Ronaldo's lawyers claim he and the American model who accused him of having had consensual s-x in his Las Vegas hotel room and then returned to the nightclub where they met.

Kathryn Mayorga claims she met the footballer at Rain, a nightclub in Las Vegas. She was then invited to his penthouse suite, where he assaulted her in the early hours of June 13, 2009.

Ronaldo has repeatedly refuted the allegations, despite a £ 287,000 payment to Mayorga in 2010, which is now referred to by his legal department as a "complete fabrication".

According to the Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha, Ronaldo claims that he and Mayorga had amicable s-x, after which they "returned to Rain's nightclub and spent several hours together."

He now wants Rain's CCTV footage, closed in 2012, to show that they've gone to the club together.

In a statement yesterday, Ronald's US Representative Peter S Christiansen said that the footballer's motivation to pay Mayorga was "twisted", to say the least.

"To dispel any doubt, Mr. Ronaldo has always maintained, as today, that what happened in 2009 in Las Vegas was consensual.

"While Mr. Ronaldo does not deny the existence of mutual consent and release, his motives for agreeing to this resolution have been twisted to some extent."

"Far from blaming or having ulterior motives, Mr. Ronaldo was advised to privately resolve the allegations against him in order to avoid the inevitable attempts to destroy a reputation based on hard work, athleticism and honor."

This comes after his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez showed a family unit show by posting a clip of her with her children on social media.

She has uploaded the video clip to her Instagram story and shows her with her children in a swimming pool with the inscription: "Spa time ... Our daughters ... our lives @ Cristiano, we love you".
