Enugu guber: APC chieftains in fresh war of words

Members of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Enugu State chapter have opened another chapter of the verbal, accusing each other for working for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the State.

Senator Ayogu Eze is not the party's candidate for the 2019 general elections.

Ogbodo had said that, "For the avoidance of doubts, the APC flag bearer in Enugu State is Barrister George Tagbo Ogara."

Irked by such remarks, chairman of APC in the State, Barr. Ben Nwoye, accused him and Ogara of making tools in the hands of the PDP.

However, Ogbodo again attacked Nwoye, saying that he is executing a PDP agenda.

In a statement made available to journalists, Ogbodo said, "From assumption of office in 2014, Nwoye has always been a tool of the APC's destruction in the hands of the PDP.

"That he can not deny the fact that he, as a major opposition chairman of Enugu State, has never been criticized for the negative actions of PDP led government in the state.

He has been appointed chief executive officer of Ben Nwoye Baywood, Ugonna Ibe was appointed caretaker committee chairman of Awgu LGA been created by Ugonna Ibe as Awgu caretaker chairman, which used to be Ben Nwoye's APC leadership in the state.

The House of Assembly candidates of the APC in the 2015 elections went to court against the PDP government in Enugu State and Ben Nwoye went and withdrew the case in favor of PDP.

"With all this barrage of evidence, the press judge for who is the agent of PDP."
