Uwazuruike endorses Bianca Ojukwu for Senate

Chief Uwazuruike, leader of the sovereign movement of the sovereign state of Biafra (MASSOB), supported the appeal of Mrs Bianca Ojukwu to contest the election of Senators in South Korea against Anambra in 2019.

Uwazuruike endorsed Bianca's ambition when Bianca, the wife of the late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu and Dr. Godwin Maduka, a Nigerian surgeon from the United States, visited the Ojukwu Memorial Library Owerri on Sunday.

He said that he supports Bianca because her deceased husband meant everything to the identity of the Igbo people and his soul mate and mentor, who fought for the emancipation of Ndigbo.

Uwazuruike, who is also the leader of the Biafra Independence Movement, said that he is not from the Anambra Senatorial District, but that he regrets instruments that he possesses to ensure Bianca's victory.

"Bianca already has more than 15 Igbo billionaires for its senator project in 2019 and I dare to say that she has my full support and we call on Anambra people to look back on our history and to support her," Uwazuruike .

Mrs. Ojukwu recently stated that she was fighting for the senatorial seat on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), a party that founded her late husband in 2003.

Mrs. Ojukwu told the news agency Nigeria (NAN) that she praised the zeal and interest of Uwazuruike to engrave the name of her husband and Ndigbo in the sand of time.

"When Uwazuruike founded this Ojukwu Memorial Library project after my husband died, it was like a bourgeois dream, but today's project is almost complete," she said.

Although Bianca said that her visit to the project site had no significance for her political ambition, she described her visit as "coming home".

NAN reports that the Ojukwu Memorial Library complex has an auditorium with a capacity of 2,000 and an E library that could serve as a meeting place for discussion on Igbo historical heritage and issues affecting it.

Maduka, who described the auditorium as "magnificent", also welcomed the thoughtfulness of Uwazuruike in the library and the conference center.

"I am very pleased with this beautiful building that can be compared with aesthetic buildings in the Netherlands, I will certainly identify with the initiator of this project in its completion.

"I have to add that this is to show that I am a core Igbo man and I feel that every privileged son or daughter of Igbo-nation should show interest in this project that represents our history and unity," said he. .

Maduka, the Chief Executive Officer and medical director of the Las Vegas Pain Institute and Medical Center, Nevada, USA, criticized what he called the continued marginalization of part of the country for the benefit of others.

He said that the beauty of Nigeria was the unity of all segments, and urged the leaders to oppose tribalism and nepotism to take the country to a higher level.

NAN also reports that Maduka, who recently began construction of the police academy in his Umuchukwu mansion, has completed a 16-storey medical skyscraper center in the Umuchukwu community at Orumba South Local Government, Anambra State.

He built and handed over both the High Court and the Magistrates' Court complex as involved in litany of development projects in an attempt to transform his obscure community into a center of medical destination in Nigeria and the entire African continent.
