"Am not Afraid of 2019 Election" - Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari declared Sunday that he is not afraid that the 2019 elections are free and fair elections.

During an interactive session with the Nigerian community in China, Buhari said he was not afraid that all participants would have a level playing field in next year's elections.

Buhari is in China for the summit on cooperation between China and Africa (FOCAC).

"I'm not afraid of free and fair elections, because that's what brought me here," he said in a video about the Twitter grip of the presidency.

He also talked about how he became president after trying four times.

"I know what I've been through", I added, "I've tried it four times ... and the fourth time the technology came, helped us and the voice of people was counted".
