How Buhari, Offered Me N2billion To Dump PDP - Akwa Ibom Speaker

Onofiok Luke, the president of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, claimed that the presidency had offered him 2 billion naira and that the deputy governor's post had ceded the popular democratic party, the PDP, to Congress of Progressives, APC.

Luke spoke at a solidarity rally for state governor Udom Emmanuel and state senator Bassey Albert in Uyo, the state capital.

The President noted that he preferred to leave politics rather than go to the PCA.

According to Luke, "they said that the president had sent words for me to become the deputy governor, they offered me 2 billion N, but I said no, if you want, give me 10 billion, mine is no. "

Speaking about the defection of former Senate minority leader, Godswill Akpabio, Luke said the action was due to personal interest.

He insisted that the defection was aimed at seizing and sharing power.

"They have no plan for us and no plans for the future of our state - it was all for them - it was all about grabbing power and sharing power, but thanks to extraordinary grace. of God, we will overcome them, "said Luke.
