5 Insurgents Kill Selves In Maiduguri

Five insurgents lost their lives in a failed attempt to infiltrate a Maiduguri community, causing havoc.

The incident took place on August 5 at the Kaleri community in Maiduguri, confirmed Monday the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in Maiduguri.

Malam Bello Danbatta, head of emergency response at Borno State Emergency Management Agency, also corroborated the story, saying the two men blew up their explosives behind a security cordon in the area. the Kaleri region.

He explained that the suicide bombers apparently targeted dozens of residents of the Kaleri community. "One of the bombers targeted a house where a man and his wife were sleeping outside and blew up his explosive, injuring them.

"The other bombing woman hit a house and as the owner opened, she quickly detonated her IED." The third suicide bomber only destroyed one building, killing only himself. "No one was killed except the bombers.

They were trying to sneak into the neighborhood to wreak havoc, but their plans failed.
