Rapper Steals Gold Chain From The Neck Of His Own Fan

A California rapper, YG was arrested on a felony robbery charge.

The young man was caught after allegedly stealing a gold chain from a fan's neck and taking off with the diamond pendant in a Las Vegas casino.

TheFader reports that the 28-year-old rapper whose real name is Keenon Daequan Ray Jackson was in a Vegas court on Thursday after a warrant was issued for his arrest and he surrendered. He was charged with felony robbery and was released on bail.

The incident took place at the end of May at the Cosmopolitan around 4am, after a man approached YG and asked for a photo but his crew refused him.

In retaliation, YG asked his team to "catch" him, before pulling the chain and a diamond pendant from his neck. The incident was captured in the surveillance images of the casino.

The alleged victim also sued YG, claiming that his crew threw himself on him before taking his jewelry valued between $ 3,000 and $ 9,000. The man wants at least $ 250,000 in compensation.
