Juventus sell out $60m worth of Cristiano Ronaldo jerseys in a Day

According to reports in Italy, Juventus sold 520,000 Cristiano Ronaldo '7' jerseys in just 24 hours after signing for the Italian club.

Yahoo Italy reports that Ronaldo's official jerseys, which cost around $ 120, earned $ 62.4 million in total revenue, almost half of his transfer fees paid to his former club.

The Portuguese and five-time winner of the Ballon d'Or, 33, signed for Juventus Real Madrid in a four-year contract for 100 million euros last week.

In signing for the club, he said: I am a person who likes to think about the present, "he said.

"I'm still very young and I've always loved the challenges, from Sporting to Manchester (United), to Real (Madrid) and now Juventus.

"It was a well thought out decision, the best club in Italy, with an exceptional manager (Massimiliano Allegri) and coaches, so it was not a difficult decision to make.

"I am very ambitious and I like new challenges, I hope everything will be fine, luck is always useful, but you have to look for it."
