Federal Government, States And LGs Share N668.8bn For May

The three levels of government finally received N $ 688.8 billion in allocation for the month of May, after many weeks of negotiations over the shortfall by the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation.

This was made public by the director of information at the Ministry of Finance, Hassan Dodo confirmed the release of the fund in a statement released Friday in Abuja.

He said the fund had been released at all three levels of government while the reconciliation of underpayment of income was still ongoing.

The statement reads in part, "Due to a disagreement over remittances by income generating agencies, especially the NNPC, the revenue sharing for May 2018 that was due to be distributed in June 2018, was put in place. waiting.
