APC Osun state governorship primary election to hold tomorrow

The Congress of All Progressives (APC) has been postponed from Thursday, July 19 to Friday, July 20 to elect its candidate for the next election of Osun governors.

Oshiomhole explained that the key was to allow more party members to participate in the process of nominating candidates and eliminate corruption issues or monetize processes. He added that the direct primary would give party members a sense of ownership of the outcome of the exercise.

Only 17 candidates won the party declaration of interest and nomination forms to contest their ticket for the election of governors scheduled for September 22, while all candidate political parties to the election of governors of Osun have until Monday, July 23 to submit their application. election to the National Independent Electoral Commission (INEC).
