Video:How Saraki Communicated With Us - Offa Robbery Gang Leader Makes Fresh confession

The Nigerian police force revealed that Senate President Bukola Saraki is still being investigated for allegedly arming the thugs who orchestrated the theft of Offa, which claimed 33 lives.

This was revealed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Jimoh Moshood, as he spoke at a recent press conference during which some of the robbery suspects were shown. Mr. Moshood said the invitation from Saraki who had been asked to respond to the accusations against him in writing has not been withdrawn, as reported in the media.

The leader of the robbery team, Ayodele Akinnibosun confessed that his criminal gang received instructions from Saraki through an intermediary and other figures close to him for reasons of privacy.

He also revealed that he was part of the team that joined Saraki in paying a condolence visit to a traditional ruler, Olofa de Offa, after the bloody aftermath of the bank robbery.

"I have a friend, he is also a politician, he is close to the president of the Senate, Senator Bukola Saraki, his name is Samsudeen Bada, who called me although we have a political platform but I did not understand that he (Saraki) was already there, I was going to pay a condolence visit to Offa's Olofa.

"The president of the Senate is not just a small person whom someone can say he wants to go and see, if he wants to talk to us, he talks to us through his own political advisers, his own people around him because he does not have any something that has to do with us for something like this (his arrest), "he said.

Mr. Moshood insisted that the criminal case against Saraki will not be swept under the rug as they have a case that can stand the trial trial.

It will be recalled that Ayodele Akinnibosun claims to be the president of the Youth Liberation Movement in South Kwara.
