War Between The EME Boss "Banky W" And Wizkid

February 16, 2013 0 Comments

The war between the EME boss "Banky W" and Wizkid has taken a different dimension and it looks like Wizkid will maintain his stands on leaving the EME crew. We got news from a relaiable source in the team that banky W recently slamed wizkid on twitter following a phone conversation between the both of them. It was learnt that during the conversation, BankyW was pleading with Wizkid to change his decision on his exit from the team but wizkid payed deaf ears and said his decision stands, But since BankyW has been trying to control the situation and prevent the news from getting to the public, he begged wizkid to show up at his album launch and surprisingly wizkid turned him down, this made BankyW mad and felt so disappointed about wizzy's decision.

We later confirmed that banky W slamed wizkid on twitter and without much delay, wizkid returned the tweets.. Wizkid now has the opportunity of continuing his musical career with Konvict music. We learned from a reliable source that wizkid recently left the country to make moves on his deal with konvict music.

So many reporters have been calling the EME boss to confirm the situation but he has been avoiding calls recently just to avoid questions that are arising due to the development.

I wonder what the EME crew will look like without starboy wizzy.. The question is can Skales lift the team as high as wizkid has ?

February 16, 2013 0 Comments
A Thai couple have set the new world record for The World's longest Kiss in an event orgnaized to celebrate Valentine's Day in Thailand.

The couple, Hospital Security Guard, Akekachai Tiranarat, 44, and his 33 year old housewife, wife Raksana Taranarat, locked lips for 58 hours, 35 minutes, and 58 seconds to break the record set last year by more than eight hours.

The World's Longest Kiss Event started out with 9 couples on February 12 in Pattaya, 150 km (90 miles) east of Bangkok, February 14, 2013, and culminated on Febraury 14, Valentine's Day.

Competition rules required contestants to remain on their feet all through, slurp food and liquids through a straw and even go to the toilet while continuing to press lips together.

“They were very exhausted because they did not sleep for two-and-a-half days, they had to stand all the time so they were very weak,” Sompron Naksuetrong, vice president of event organiser Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, told AFP.

The “kissathon” ended shortly before midnight on Valentine’s Day, with the male couple who won last year unable to maintain their smooch, collapsing just two minutes before Ekkachai and Laksana.

The pair won 100,000 baht ($3,300) cash and two diamond rings for all their troubles.

Kissing for over 58 hours straight?

Talk about tasking the boundaries of love. . .

Revealed: How Goldie Died

February 16, 2013 0 Comments

Statement from the CEO of Kennis Music, Kenny Ogungbe pictured above with the late singer

“With a deep sense of loss, we announce the shocking death of our darling music star, Goldie Harvey. Goldie, 31, died on Thursday after she complained of a severe headache shortly after her arrival from the United States where she went to witness the Grammy Award. She was rushed from her Park View, Ikoyi, Lagos residence to her official hospital, Reddington, Victoria Island, Lagos, where doctors pronounced her dead on arrival at exactly 7:30pm in the evening.
We consider this period a gloomy moment for us and the entire Nigerian music industry in view of the circumstance in which she passed away; the abundance of talent she exhibited in her short but eventful music career and the various opportunities her trip to the United States of America would have availed her. She is survived by her father, step- mother, brothers and sisters. We deeply sympathise with her family and fans all over the world and very grateful to all and sundry, especially, the vibrant Nigerian media for their concern and prompt reportage. We shall keep everybody informed as events unfold as we are devastated by the sudden loss.”

It’s been a few hours since Stephen Keshi‘s surprising resignation as the head coach of the Super Eagles. He is currently reconsidering his decision and has released the following statement.

My attention has been drawn to reports in the media that I have resigned my appointment as the Head Coach of Super Eagles of Nigeria.
While I have had cause to express my displeasure over some issues that happened in the course of our participation in the AFCON 2013, which my team won by the grace of God, especially concerning my relationship with the Nigerian Football Federation, I have since had opportunity to discuss the various issues with all concerned. I am therefore pleased to say that I have reconsidered my position and have decided to continue with my job.
I want to thank the Honourable Minister of Sports, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, for his swift and kind intervention.

Super Eagles win Afcon 2013

February 10, 2013 0 Comments
Nigeria won the African Cup of Nations thanks to a fabulous goal from Sunday Mba to give the Super Eagles a 1-0 win over Burkina Faso at Soccer City in Johannesburg.

It was a thoroughly deserved third African crown for Nigeria, who dominated the game throughout and could have had several more goals were it not for some sloppy finishing.

Universities using Post-UTME forms to cheat us — Candidates

February 10, 2013 0 Comments
Post-UTME is meant to ensure that only brilliant candidates gain admission into higher institutions. But candidates are worried that most universities sell forms beyond the number of students they can admit. MOTUNRAYO ABODERIN writes

Dayo Komolafe was so certain she would be admitted into the University of Ilorin, Kwara State, in 2008. Since she scored 248 in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and 80 per cent in the university’s Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, she felt she had no cause to worry. But alas, she was not admitted because the university had limited space.

He made it very clear he has no fear.

It's the first time Ross has been seen out in public since the day of the shooting.
